Baetis Rhodani parachute

A safe fly that imitates Baetis Rhodani mayfly in the dun stage. But it also covers a range of other olive brown flie that there are so many of. This is one of my regular flies. Klinkhammer

Variations of klinkhammer or klinkhåmer is absolutely an essential fly. I have without doubt had most success with an all black klinkhammer described elsewhere on this site. However klinkhammers in brown and also pale is important to have. I don't put tale on these. In a time when it seemed that everyone was making this fly, I saw no other option than doing the same. It should also be mentioned that I twice have been on the mountain when these are hatching, not catching anything, because I didn't have the imitation. This imitation was made of what I had lying around. Which mostly is a good advise. December 15, 2018 X-BEETLE X-Beetle I recently tied this fly for the first time, so I will not be able to try this interesting fly for many months. But I suspect this could be a very good fly on still water. I find still water fly fishing more difficult than streaming water. Reason is that the fish has plenty of time to study the fly and everything else happening when fishing. A beetle that falls on water is a very tempting mouthfull for any fish.
